First of all I would like to thank the Northern Committee for inviting me to judge this show, after the untimely death
of Mr Hedd Richards. Thanks to Marian and Jay, for keeping the Ring running smoothly. I found temperaments to be
excellent on the day. There is a bit of length creeping into the breed, remember body proportions should be 9.10,
compact more than elongated. All entrants were well presented, and I thank you all for attending; I thoroughly
enjoyed my day. Finally, thank you for the lovely glass bowl which will be my memory of the day.

Baby Puppy Dog (0)
Baby Puppy Bitch (2, 1)
1st Wood’s Osekevabern Hellraiser
5.5 months, head developing, coming on nicely, dark eye, level topline for her age, with good neck, shoulder and
hind angulation. Moved well, thoroughly enjoyed her day out, very promising.
Veteran Dog (1)
1st Hastings’ Bernemcourt Livin on a Prayer
What a fabulous boy of 10 years, moved so spritely around the ring, it was a pleasure to see. Masculine head, well
marked, deep chest, level topline, good shoulder and neck, nice bone and good hind angulation. Well presented.
Minor Puppy Dog (0)
Puppy Dog (6)
1st Dybdall/Lydon’s Rodiveco King of Hearts
Lovely puppy of nearly 12 months. He has a strong masculine head, with good width to the muzzle, and little round
in eye, well marked, good neck, shoulder and upper arm. Level topline, correct angles to the rear, strong
hindquarters. Moved out well in profile, but can, at times, be a little untidy in front, but hope this tightens with
maturity. In super coat and condition. Best Puppy in Show
2nd Hastings’ Oakbern Nitro Rumba
10 months. Coming along nicely with lovely bone. Head is masculine, eyes a little loose at the moment, but should
tighten as his head broadens. Good front assembly and hind angulation. Moved well coming towards and in profile,
just needs to tighten up behind. Well presented.
3rd Lindsay’s Oakbern Ripsaw Rye
Litter brother to second, and much the same remarks apply. However, he is a tad longer in loin and in a growing
spurt at the moment, tending to stand a little bum high. He too was very sound on the move.
Junior Dog (2)
1st Jefferson’s Elbrusbern Amadeus
15 months and just going through the junior stage. Attractive head, well marked, good neck and shoulder, a little
short in upper arm. Still needs to develop in fore chest, level topline, short loin. Enough bend of stifle, moved out
well in profile, showing length of stride. Handler and dog turned out beautifully.
2nd Lindsay’s Oakbern Ripsaw Rye
Third in puppy.
Yearling Dog (2)
1st Norrie’s Rodiveco Porra Chinaco
21 month old male, who is also in between growth stages. He has a nice head with dark markings, good length of
neck, shoulders well placed with good length to upper arm. Short loin, but I would prefer a little more bend of stifle;
this should balance out as he drops in body. Moved out very well on the out and back, and showed a good length of
stride in profile. Presentation was excellent.
2nd Woolley’s Jaysaberne My Only Sunshine
19 month old male with a strong masculine head, perhaps a shade overdone for me. Correct bite, at little in loose
flews. Good length of neck, deep chest. Stands on good bone and feet. Level topline, a little long in loin. Moved
well in profile with a good length of stride.

Novice Dog (4)
1st Bone’s Meadowpark Finn’s a Dream
2.5 year old male with lovely head and expression. Medium sized, good bone, correct proportions. Was nice and free
on the move, although can sometimes stand a little narrow in the front, which the handler needs to watch. Was
presented in beautiful coat and condition.
2nd Woolley’s Jaysaberne My Only Sunshine
Third in Yearling Dog.
3rd Wright/Kirk’s Roesilbern Forbidn Forrest
10 months old and very raw. Attractive head with nice dark eye and markings. Correct bite, well placed shoulder, a
little short in upper arm, level topline, adequate bend of stifle. Moved well in side gait, needs lots of time to mature,
well handled and presented.
Graduate Dog (2)
1st Krjukova’s Finite Melle Dulcior
Nearly 2 year old, attractive male who is maturing well. Good head, with lovely clear markings, strong front, good
angles fore and aft, level topline. On the move he short steps slightly in the front, but was clean going away. Well
presented, shall watch with interest to see how he progresses.
2nd Wright/Kirk’s Roesilbern Forbidn Forrest
Third in Novice Dog.
Post Graduate Dog (4)
1st Bramble’s Nelstephbern Me and My Boy
2 year old, attractive medium sized dog with lovely markings. Head is broad and masculine. Well angled shoulders,
good forechest, level topline, well balanced proportions, strong hind quarters. Moved very well; a good honest and
steady dog, with excellent temperament.
2nd Meakin’s Bernsego Saburban (Imp Rus)
3 year old male with dark markings and rich tan. Head is masculine, a little long in muzzle. Has a good length of
neck and layback of shoulder, stands on good bone. Good angles to the rear, nicely rounded rump, correct tailset.
Moved out really well. In fabulous coat and condition, with a good temperament.
3rd Shaw’s Meadowpark Sunshine Blend
A most attractive boy of 4 years. Good head and width of skull. Correct markings. Strong neck and shoulders, a
little short in upper arm. Level topline, good bone. Would like a little more leg length, a touch long in loin, correct
hindquarters with good bend of stifle. Moved well in all directions. Beautifully presented.
Limit Dog (3)
1st Peacocke/Plant’s Bobb Vom Durrbachler Wald Taf Naf
3.5 year old male who is just coming to his best. Masculine head, attractive markings with good width to his skull.
Strong in the muzzle, correct bite. Well laid shoulders with length to upper arm. Good depth to chest, good bone
and feet, level topline, but a tad long in loin. Correct hindquarters, with good bend of stifle. On the move he really
covered the ground, with good forward reach, he was clean coming towards but found to be a little close in hind
movement when going away. I am sure he has enough qualities to gain his title. He was handled to advantage and
well presented. I was pleased to award him the Reserve CC.
2nd Copeland’s Kernow Dollar Promises at Maxjabar
Another nice male, nearly 3 years old, medium sized. Masculine head and nice expression. Good neck and shoulder,
level topline. Still needs a little more development in forechest. Could be a little shorter in loin. Shapely hind
quarters. Moved out well in profile, but can sometimes be a little untidy coming towards. Well handled and
presented.
3rd Hughes’ Waldershelf Cubby Ad Astra
Lots to like about this 4 year old male. He has a handsome head, well marked, correct bite, nice bone. Level topline,
with good hind angulation with a lovely rounded rump. Tail set is okay, but he does tend to carry it high. He moved
well in all directions. He has a profuse coat around his neck and shoulders, which makes him look very heavy in this
area and totally spoiled his outline. Well handled.

Open Dog (5)
1st Atherton’s CH Valentinn Vom Durrbachlerwald
4 year old very typey male. Medium size, lovely masculine head and melting expression. Good width of skull, correct
bit, neck of good length, strong front with well laid shoulders. Correct length of upper arm, level topline, short loin,
strong hindquarters and correct bend of stifle. Today I could not fault his movement, he strode out with lots of
enthusiasm, reaching out well in front, with strong powerful hind movement. Temperament is excellent. Coat was
well presented. I have no hesitation in awarding him the CC. Love him !
2nd Manix’s Waldershelf Fame ‘N Fortune
Another 4 year male, with lots to like about him. Loved his head and expression, not quite the front assembly as 1,
being a little short in upper arm. He has good depth to his chest, level topline, shapely hindquarters. He didn’t do
himself any favours today in the stance, but moved out well, not as much forward reach as the winner, but was clean
in his hind action. Excellent temperament, well presented.
3rd Dybdall/Lydon/Hughes’ Carraigbern Noble Heart of Rodiveco (KC)
5 year old mature male, with an handsome head and lovely expression. Good length of neck, depth of chest. Very
correct in his front assembly with good layback of shoulder and length to upper arm. Nice bone, could be a little
shorter in loin, level topline but just falls away over the croup. Has good hind angulation, not at his best on the move
today. Presentation first class.
Veteran Bitch (6)
Four lovely veteran girls.
1st Green/English’s Bernerdalens Quest for Fame at Waldershelf (Imp Swe)
Under medium sized, 7 year old pretty girl with nice head, good neck with well laid shoulders. Enough bone for her
size, level topline, good bend of stifle. Powered round the ring with lots of enthusiasm, thoroughly enjoying the day
out.
2nd Atherton’s Arvella Penny Lane
A bigger bitch all round than 1, but nice head, correct bite, good length of neck, well placed shoulders, good depth of
chest, level topline. A touch long in loin, strong hindquarters. Moved out with good movement in all directions. Left
her coat at home, happy girl.
3rd McCormick’s Monalou Star Princess
Lovely bitch of 9 years. Medium size, in super coat and condition. Nice head with feminine expression. A little short
in neck, deep chest, topline a little soft now. Good strong hindquarters, moved out well showing good length of
stride. Happy girl, who wanted to please.
Minor Puppy Bitch (7)
1st Meakin’s Bellatrix Do Monte Dos Ursos (Imp Prt)
Pretty puppy bitch of just 7 months, enjoying her day out as she should. Attractive head and markings, good depth
to chest, level topline, sharp compact body, good angles to the rear, excellent temperament. Moved out well.
2nd Brown’s Collandsues Bob’s Gold Blend of Delphinia
Another attractive puppy of 8 months, she too has a good length of neck and well developed chest for her age. Level
topline, longer cast than the winner. Stands four square with correct hind angulation. Moved out well, happy
temperament.
I am sure that these two will change places many times.
Puppy Bitch (3)
1st Dybdall/Lydon’s Rodiveco Queen of Diamonds
Nearly 12 months, and I see litter sister to my puppy dog winner. Lots to like about her, she has strong yet feminine
head, well marked, dark eye. Good neck, shoulder and upper arm, level topline, good depth to body, correct body
proportions. Strong hindquarters. Moved out well. Presented in top class condition. Will watch her progress with
interest.

2nd Worrall’s Oakbern Kodiac Gold
Another very nice puppy of 11 months. Not quite the maturity of 1, but she had a nice feminine head, well marked,
stands on good bone, nice length of neck with good depth to her chest. Level topline, a shade long in loin, well
angulated hindquarters. Moved out well, well presented, excellent temperament.
These two will probably change places many times.
3rd Horn’s Westholincar Born and Bred
11 months, not quite as mature as the first two, but lots to like. Nice feminine head with good markings. Good neck
and shoulder, a little short in upper arm, good depth to her chest, level topline, shapely hindquarters. She had a good
length of stride in profile. Excellent temperament, shown in good coat and condition.
Junior Bitch (6)
1st Krjukova Elbrusbern Aurora
A smart bitch of 14 months. Not in full coat, so had nothing to hide. Liked her make and shape, nice head and
markings. Still has lots of maturing to do, but everything in the right place. Moved out soundly, with lots of
enthusiasm. Should have a promising future.
2nd Cox’s Matera’s Feeling Grande
Just 12 months, a strong bitch of good breed type. Attractive head, correct bite, well marked, straight front, short
loin, level topline, lovely rounded rump, good bend of stifle. Moved well going away and in profile, just turns her left
front in when coming towards. Beautiful presentation.
3rd Worrall’s Oakbern Kodiac Gold
Second in Puppy Bitch.
Yearling Bitch (4)
1st Krjukova Elbrusbern Bold Legacy
Easy winner of this class. Lovely 14 month old bitch with lots to like. Strong yet feminine head, good width of
muzzle, correct bite, good length of neck, well placed shoulder, a little short in upper arm. Still needs to develop in
full chest. Level topline, lovely strong hindquarters. Easy on the move, just needs a little more time. One to watch.
2nd Marsden/Robertson’s Kernow Bittersweet Tale for Trudaleaze
16 months, head is feminine with good markings. Eyes are a little loose, hopefully will tighten as her head breaks.
Good length of neck and lay of shoulder. Nice bone, a bit soft in topline. Nicely rounded hindquarters with good bend
of stifle. Happy temperament, moved okay.
3rd Watson’s Stepdashar Magical Wish
A sweet girl with attractive, well marked head. Correct bite, under medium size, slightly long body proportions, level
topline, enough hind angulation. Left her coat at home today, moved well.
Novice Bitch (1)
Absent
Graduate Bitch (1)
1st Watson’s Stepdasher Spring Blossom
Stood alone in the class, but a worthy winner. Strong girl, just short of 2 years. Head is feminine, with a nice dark
eye, correct bite, good length of neck, straight front, level topline, good hind angles, moved out well. In good coat
and condition.
Post Graduate Bitch (2)
1st Lovel’s Meadowpark’s Sunshine Dream at Lovetrac
Very nice 3 year old bitch, with a nice feminine head and correct markings. She has a good reach of neck. Needs a
little more development in forechest. Well placed shoulders and upper arm, level topline. Strong hindquarters, which
she used so well on the move. Not in full coat today, but I am sure her day will come.
2nd Horn’s Tangyachates Fenella’s Love at Westholincar
Nice bitch, under medium size. Sweet feminine expression, correct bite, good depth to her chest, level topline,
shapely hindquarters, good body proportions. Moved out soundly, going and coming, just wished there was more of
her. Well presented.

Limit Bitch (3)
1st Jones’ Tremywyddfa Black Lace
My notes say ‘wow where has she been’, just my type. Four years, strong bitch with good head and expression,
correct bite, well marked, good neck, shoulders well placed, strong bone, level topline, correct hind angulation, nice
rounded rump, tail well set. Moved well, with good reach in front, followed well through behind, lovely side gait.
Pushed my ticket winner in the Challenge, but she was not quite in full bloom, but I had not hesitation in awarding
her the Reserve CC, and I feel she has enough quality to take a title. Get her out !
2nd Sutton’s Nelstephbern Dior By Design
A typey bitch with lots to like about her. 2 years, with a lovely head and expression. Correct markings, not quite the
strength and bone of my winner, but she stands correct in the front with a good depth of chest and lay back of
shoulder. Level topline and shapely hindquarters. On the move she showed lots of enthusiasm, moved very well in
profile, but was a little untidy coming towards. Well handled and in excellent coat and condition.
3rd Wood’s Etterbern Fashion Trends
3.5 year old, medium sized bitch, with quality head and markings. Correct bite, good length of neck and depth to
forechest, level topline, a bit long in loin, nice rounded hindquarters. Stands a little straight in stifle. She moved very
well in profile, but was a little untidy in the front today. Lovely temperament and well presented.
Open Bitch (6)
A lovely class.
1st Green/English’s CH Waldershelf Can’t Ignora JW
4 year old, top quality bitch, who has fulfilled all the promise I thought she showed when I last judged her a t 2 years
old, when I gave her the Reserve CC. Now at her best, she was exactly what I was looking for on the day. Head is
feminine, without being overdone, she is well marked, good length of neck leading into well placed shoulders. Good
depth to her chest, level topline, lovely hindquarters. She moved as it she could have gone all day, good reach of
front followed by power behind. Shown in tip top condition, and I had no hesitation in awarding her the CC and
ultimately Best in Show.
2nd Oliver Bridges’ CH Liskarn’s Love of My Life
Another top quality bitch with lots to like about her. Presents a beautiful outline on the stack, head is not as strong as
the winner, but she is only 2.5 years, so there is time on her side. Well marked, good length of neck, leading into well
placed shoulders, good depth of chest, level topline, short loin, strong hindquarters. On the move she has a long,
powerful stride. Presented in top class coat and condition.
3rd Dybdall/Lydon’s Rodiveco Queen of Hearts
Another lovely bitch with lots to like about her. Stronger in head than 2, with good width of skull, well marked, eye a
bit rounder than I would like. She presents another pleasing outline on the stack, with good angles to the front.
Level in topline, a touch long in loin, shapely hindquarters, perhaps a shade more length of leg to balance her out.
She powered round the ring with ground covering movement. Can be a little untidy coming towards. Presented in
pristine condition, as always from this Kennel.
