The show opened with a decision to move to the indoor ring due to
blustery winds and threat of rain during the day. This was the correct decision
as there were spells of rain throughout the day. The Officers & Committee
thank all that attended for your support.

1st Baldwin’s Ch Meadowpark First Class For Fortonpark JW
This Veteran dog moved around the ring with ease and purpose. Super construction, well-muscled. Very pleasing head with lovely dark eyes. Presented in excellent condition, Best Veteran in Show.
2nd Hastings’ Bernemcourt Liv’n On A Prayer
This 9 year old had a super strong head, good body proportions and lovely coat with beautiful white markings. Moved well and presented in lovely condition.
3rd Fairclough’s Monalou Spirit Of Discovery.

Very gentle natured pup with compact proportions, good shaped head with dark eye and good ear set. Very happy dog, moved well when he wasn’t trying to eat his lead. This pup is coming on beautifully.

A lovely shaped pup that’s coming along nicely. Compact proportions with good reach of neck, modest bone, moved well once settled.

Handled to perfection this boy has a lovely profile. He is developing well with a good head, correct eye and ear set. Strong in bone, chest, ribs. Nicely rounded rump. Flat top line both standing and on the move. Maturing very nicely.

1st Spencer’s Bernolli Daniel Craig At Padiky (Imp Rus)
20 months. Lovely head with dark eyes and correct ear set. Adequate bone but at present showing slightly long body proportions. He was a little unsettled when being examined and sadly carried his tail under his body spoiling his outline. Handled and presented very well indeed.

Such a happy boy. A tall dog with adequate bone. Good strong front end and chest. A pleasing head with good stop, flat skull and correct eyes. Moved well with his tail wagging the whole time.

Strong Head with well-defined stop, liked his bone and substance. Good forequarters, shoulder and chest. Moderate hind angulation. Moved well.

Super Dog oozing quality from top to toe. Excellent proportions throughout. Kind, expressive masculine head. Kept his top line in profile and on the move. Balanced movement with drive, well-muscled. Shown in superb condition and beautifully handled. Reserve CC.
2nd Miles’ Jaybiem Only Making Plans
Smaller in frame and bone than the winner, well-proportioned construction, just dipping a little in the top line. Moved well, lovely head with melting expression and super dark eye.

1st Hartley-Mair & Baldwin’s Ch Tjofselinas Chirac (Imp Swe)
Well, what a super boy. Caught my eye with his presence as soon as he entered the ring. He looked stunning in profile and didn’t disappoint when he moved with strength but with a sense of freedom. Presented in fabulous condition, well-muscled and a beautiful coat, but all this just complimented his superb confirmation, bone, head markings and overall quality. Well deserving of Dog CC and Best in Show.
2nd Murphy’s Ch Maroussia Wish You We’re Here At Kinelarty
Medium sized, standing four-square with a lovely compact shape, good bone. Lovely head, eyes a little light, correct ear set. Moved extremely well with good tail carriage.

9 years of age. A substantial girl with good bone. Carried her tail under spoiling her profile. Moved well.

Wow what a super happy pup. Wonderful shape, great bone, pretty expressive head, lovely confirmation throughout with great hind angulation. Super happy on the move. Her tail never stopped wagging such a show girl. Reserve Best Puppy in Show.

Presented in lovely condition, coming on nicely. Good body proportions, adequate bone, unsettled on the move.

Another lovely happy pup, pretty head with dark eye and correct ear set. Promising conformation, slighter in bone. Presented in excellent condition and moved well

Lovely shaped bitch, well-constructed. Good overall feminine head but with slighter stop. Excellent on the move showing reach, drive and overall balance.

A lovely freestanding girl. 21 months, nicely proportioned medium sized with good bone. Maturing very nicely. Strong feminine head with good stop, dark eye. Was slightly unnerved with loud external noises. Moved well.
2nd Scott & Corrigan’s Bern Haus On Oka Shikaria To Shobern (Imp Rus)
Strong head with good stop, dark eye and good ear carriage. Strong front construction with her back end needing to mature more. Nicely marked. Sadly not at her most confident today.

Medium sized bitch with adequate bone, pretty head with slightly narrow muzzle. Nicely constructed though slightly short in tail. With lovely markings. Moved well and presented in excellent condition.

Good sized bitch presented in great condition. Strong head with good stop and dark eye. Well-proportioned body with good bone. Moved easily around the ring, this team would benefit from more ring craft experience.

This lovely strong bitch caught my eye. Top end of height but with that came good bone, sound body with broad chest, well ribbed and strong loin. Nicely rounded rump. Well-muscled girl that moved well holding her top line on the move. Presented and handled so well. A Bernese fit for purpose. Reserve CC.

Pretty girl with excellent head and lovely expression. Lovely deep chest with good depth of brisket, well-ribbed. Hindquarters not as strong as front, slightly short tail. Moved well.

Superb typey girl in every sense. Strong feminine head with typical and expected expression. Sound, well-proportioned body that was fit and well-muscled .Beautiful coat giving a super finish to her profile. Loved the way she moved with absolute ease and with good reach and drive. Handling and presentation top class. This girl clearly loved being in the ring and showed her Bernese character off in full. Bitch CC and Reserve Best in Show.

Lovely compact bitch with balanced proportions and super outline. Pretty head with melting expression. Correct coat and with lovely markings. Moved well and with purpose. Handled and presented perfectly.

9 month male with promising head, good expression and very well balanced with good bone. Very fluent on the move, super coat and colour with a level topline.
2nd Spencer’s Nina Riomadea Grande At Padiky (Imp Hrv)
17 months with nice feminine head and good expression, very balanced with good bone. Moved with ease around the ring. Coat in good condition and colour.

22 month male with good head and well-defined stop. Nice expression and dark eyes. Good bone and level topline, well presented with good coat.
2nd Baldwin’s Auseire Come And Go (AI) (Imp IKC)
2.5 year-old male with masculine head and good markings. Stands correct and well-proportioned, moved very smoothly. Coat in good condition.
Special Open Award (8, 5)
1st Dybdall,, Lydon & Hughes’ Ch Carraigbern Noble Heart Of Rodiveco (IKC)
4 year old male with masculine head and dark eyes, excellent bone in good condition. Good topline. Covered the ground with ease reaching out well in front. Tail carried correct. Coat in good condition and a pleasing temperament.
2nd Spencer’s Ch Padiky Starr Studded Skye JW
Top quality bitch with strong but feminine head and good expression. Well balanced with good bone. Very sound on the move. Coat in lovely condition and good colour. Difficult decision between these two dogs as they both had a presence in the ring but the male seemed to like the concrete floor more.
